Anolan and Guillermo are Awesome!
Our Parker stayed with them for a week and seemed to really enjoy his time. We do not go on many trips and one of the big reasons is finding someone reliable to leave our sweet doggie with. This was the first time we were able to leave him with anyone and feel good about it. They sent us pictures and videos every day which made us feel so much better. You could tell they enjoyed time with him also and loved him like their own. Definitely will be booking with them in the future!

Our Parker has attachment problems so leaving him with someone else is always stressful for us,but Anolan and Guillermo always do a great job with him! There will be an indelible mark in the recesses of my mind and I will always remember when I went to pick my little Gia up at Anolan and Guillermo's home after our vacation, my Gia greeted us at the door to welcome us back and then immediately ran back to Anolan and Guillermo's tile floor as if to say "I'm not leaving as of yet, I'm hanging out here for a while. Have a seat Mom and Dad. I love it here." Gia was the center of attention. I was updated with pictures and videos at all times. They are truly the epitome and essence of love, compassion and kindness. I just cannot say how grateful I am. As a dog owner you have an inherent intuition about good people and Anolan and Guillermo are the best there is!! Thank you A & G.

Our little Sherlock is a rescue dog that we only had for 3 months.He is the dog that does not like anybody. He had been locked in a cage his whole life. By the second day Sherlock was doing so good. Anolan even made him special food to eat . By the pictures I was wondering if he would even want to come home. They provided a safe,loving home and I will highly recommend you book your dogs vacation with them. They administered medicine and our Sherlock came home a better dog. He is not so afraid of people and learned the command come. I loved all the pictures vedeos and updates.I felt like our dog was on vacation with us.
Anolan and Guillermo were just the therapy our dog needed. We will certainly use them again.

We're already planning our 2017 Florida vacation around the Merinos. It was the first time our loving rescue "Ribs" had been away from us in 1 1/2 years. When we went to pick him up he was glad to see us but he didn't really want to leave and he's always ready for a ride. Ribs said it all--Guillermo and Anolan are wonderful and we love them.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the love and care that Anolan and Guillermo showed to my little Morky named Zora. Zora has a host of issues ranging from having separation anxiety and being a problem eater to having pancreatitus. I have always been afraid to leave her with anyone because of these problems. Anolan and Guillermo went out of there way to not only take wonderful care of Zora but to put me at ease. I could see that my dog was in good hands. They sent me daily updates on Zora with photos and videos. They were wonderful!! Zora loved them and made herself right at home. She ended up having a great experience with them and they treated her as if she were their own pet.

My 2nd stay with Anolan and Guillermo, I was not nervous about dropping Artemis off. They sent me wonderful pictures of him throughout the day which I greatly appreciated. I totally forgot about Halloween and how he gets nervous with the doorbell and the knocking but they managed despite his nervousness. I intend to use them again in the near future and will not use anyone else. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing a pet sitter.

From the time of our meet and greet, I never felt more sure or comfortable about my decision as to who would keep Artemis when I'm away. I have never left my dog with anyone and he is almost 11 years old! Anolan and Guillermo felt like family it was like I was taking Artemis to grandmas! I have already booked another stay and am planning a third. They went out of their way to send me pictures and videos of Artemis. I cannot thank them enough and I'm grateful to have found them. Hi have to say, i left Mickey on June or July, with Anolan y Guillermo, they are the best i really wish they live in my own town so i will be able to leave him with them every time i go to vacations. I live in Orlando - Florida, and im traveling for 2 weeks on January 2016, BUT I WILL TRAVEL 3 hours to TAKE MICKEY TO ANOLAN & GUILLERMO `S HOUSE!! only with them i will be SURE COMPLETELY SURE THAT he will be safe. From the very moment the receive you its all perfect!!! they have a postcard at the door giving Mickey a warm welcome!! and when i went to pick him up they gave me a DVD with many videos of Mickey while he was with them. Anolan and Guillermo are the best possible hosts for our dog. We are always reluctant to leave our dog because he has so many medical problems and because he is the light of our lives. But, they were amazing. When I came to take him home, he didn't even get up--they had treated him so well he didn't want to go back to his normal life! it was obvious that they had taken the time to get to know him, to take care of his very specific medicines and needs and to give him lots of love. Every day they sent us pictures and an update so we could see what and how he was doing. I think we have more pictures from them than we have had of him in 5 years! I recommend them very highly and will definitely leave him there again if I have a chance.

Anolan and Guillermo were amazing with Carter! We have taken him to kennels in the past and never felt comfortable with it. Carter is an inside dog and never gets crated, so it is hard to think about him being stuck in a cage all day and only let out to be walked a couple times a day. We have never used Dog Vacay before, but when I was desperate for another option for our baby I figured I would try it out. I am so grateful that I did! Anolan and Guillermo cared for Carter as if he was their own, and put my mind at ease while I was on vacation. They sent me tons of pictures to show that he was eating, relaxing, and playing. This allowed me to relax knowing that he was comfortable and well taken care of. There is no doubt that they are animal lovers and they are passionate about what they do. The smallest details such as a "Welcome Carter" sign when we arrived and adding his pictures to their website showed me that they truly do care about what they are doing. I have never felt so comfortable leaving Carter with anyone before. Because Carter is part pit bull he is often treated as a monster, but Anolan and Guillermo did not treat him any differently, and that meant the world to me! I will absolutely trust Anolan and Guillermo to care for Carter again in the future! I don't want to take him anywhere else now!

What a pleasure! We left Pookie on Monday evening while we went to dinner with friends and again on Tuesday while we had lunch with family...both times out of town. Pookie was treated by a welcome picture on the door and a large bowl of water all waiting for her. She is a rescue and a bit skittish but we received pictures showing her up on the sofa for a tummy rub as well as other pics showing her running on the lawn and smiling at her hosts. She seemed happy and we were thrilled! Next year, we hope to leave her overnight so we can take the boat to Key West.

Our dogs just had their first overnight with Anolan and Guillermo. Maggie and Brego will be 6 later this year and are both mixed breeds from shelters. She is extremely friendly, quite vocal and rather demanding. He is extremely shy, wary of strangers and very skittish. They are accustomed to boarding in a cage/crate-free environment with many other dogs, and we had never left them at someone’s house before. We decided to try VIP Dog Boarding and half expected to have to pick them up a couple hours after dropping off, as we anticipated Brego would be terrified. Imagine our complete relief and utter delight when we received photos within a couple hours showing both dogs looking relaxed and comfy. The picture that really set our minds at ease was Anolan cradling Brego’s face in her hands – even friends who have known him for 5 years can’t get this close! They stayed a full 24 hours without any problems, and when we picked them up Brego actually went to both Anolan and Guillermo to “say goodbye.” We now add our praise to all the other reviews and will not hesitate to leave our best buddies with this wonderful couple and the TLC they provide in their cozy home. Thank you Anolan and Guillermo!

I can't say enough good things about the care Anolan and G provided for our dogs while we were gone. Prince can be a difficult dog, and they had NO problems with him. And, Kalli arrived just 2 days after we learned she has cancer. She has not been eating well, but Anolan tried everything, including hand feeding her, and she was successful in getting her to eat! On top of that, they provided multiple daily photos to keep us posted on their status, and a CD with photos and videos to take home. A wonderful, wonderful place to take your dogs while you are away! I will use them again!

Just like the last couple stays, Max had another amazing vacation. When we pulled up on the drive way he could not wait to go inside. He made a beeline for the front door. Anolan and Guillermo treated him like royalty. The emailed and texted pictures let us know he was being spoiled rotten during his stay! We got another disc with at least 60 pictures and 4 videos when we picked him up. It makes it so much easier to go away when you know and trust that your family member is being so well cared for. Thank you Anolan and Guillermo for making that a reality for us and Max. He can't wait for HIS next vacation! :)

I feel comfortable when I drop him off, and even better when I pick him up. This was our first time our boy Max, a 2 year old German Shepherd, was away from home. We were so nervous. We did a meet and greet prior to the overnight stay and that 30 minutes convinced us that Max would be well cared for. Anolan and Guillermo made it so easy. Their home was so welcoming for Max. The beautiful fenced backyard gave him plenty of space to run and play ball. The ice cubes are his favorite - like puppy popsicles! They spoiled him rotten. He was only there overnight and we received at least 5 pictures and messages detailing his stay. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby. Max is looking forward to his next stay!

We needed to travel to a wedding weekend in Naples from our home in upstate New York. We have never boarded our little yorkie before as she goes everywhere with us. As you may expect we were very anxious about this. We found Anolan and Guillermo on this site and read all their wonderful reviews so we chose them. From the moment of our arrival with Pixie they put us at ease starting with the welcome "Pixie" sign. We could tell they loved her from the start. They sent us frequent updates and pictures during the weekend so we could enjoy our time at the wedding without worry for our little girl. They loved and cared for her as we would. We wish that they lived closer to us in upstate New York so we could always have them pet-sit for us. They are her adopted Florida grandparents. Thank you so much for your wonderful care of our little Pixie.

Awesome people. My puppy XM loves them! He came home tired and sleepy. It isn't easy to tire him out, so they must have played with him a great deal!

XM had a great time! He was very happy when I came, and he seems to love his hosts. XM is a high energy working dog, but Anolan had no problems handing him, and I felt secure leaving him there. I plan to bring him back this week while I take Vinetta takes her turn at the beach.

Outstanding!!!! I was nervous about leaving Bogie with someone else while I was on vacation, but how little did I know. Bogie now has new grandparents. Anolan and Guillermo are wonderful! They took care of every need that Bogie required, plus they totally spoiled him rotten. I am so thankful for them and now Bogie has a new home away from home to stay while I am out of town! Again, outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!

Highly recommend the Merino's! Our 15 year old Pomeranian Lucky has vacationed with them 3 times. They truly love dogs and enjoy their time with him. We always get messages with photos and updates. They have a lovely home with fenced in back yard, perfect for any size dog. We can now have a vacation getaway of ours worry free. When we came to pick him up this last time, he was happy , we'll cared for , and reluctant to leave Anolan's side.

First time leaving Lucky with anyone other than family , and it was a great experience. Our little old guy, was well taken care of, with loving care. I would recommend the Merinos to anyone! Much appreciated the multiple daily updates of every detail along with pictures and even a video. Will not hesitate to have them dog sit him again, and plan to do so real soon.

 This was our second time having Zoey stay with the Merinos. From the "Welcome" photo sign when I dropped her off, to the many cute photos they sent in between, we felt that Zoey was being cared for so well! The true testament however, is that when I pulled into their driveway to drop her off, Zoey could not wait to get out of the car and run to the door. It was clear that she loves spending time with the Merinos!

 Zoey loved her experience, and we appreciated the flexibility and communication! They sent us photos and videos throughout her stay, took her on walks, and just really treated her as if she were their own pet. Zoey is kind of a picky eater when she is boarding, but she ate all her food this time, which shows how comfortable she felt. Zoey will definitely be staying with them again! We were very pleased!

Anolan and Guillermo are by far the best people to leave your pet with if you need to be away. We were comforted by the many photos of Duncan, our dog, that we received daily. Anolan and Guillermo are pet loving people that really care about not only our dogs well being but also take the time to send updates via e-mail. That extra effort made us feel comfortable about leaving Duncan for a few days. This dogvacay host was wonderful. They treated our boys (Mickey and Max) as we would treat them. And they sent pictures regularly throughout the weekend. We couldn't ask for a more caring couple to take care of our boys. Max has a diet problem and they even 'hand fed' him as I would have done!

Our little pug Toby spend his 3rd vacation with the Merino's. There is no better place out there for your precious babies. Toby loves it there, he is never alone and always have somebody to play with. The pictures we get from Toby while there speak for themselves. They pamper him with so much care and love. Hello Everybody, my name is Toby and I just had the vacation of my life time. Good thing I am still so young, that means I hopefully can enjoy many more of those awesome vacations at Auntie Anolan and uncle Guillermo. Don't give me wrong, I was happy to see my parents again, but we all need and deserve a vacation or have to spend time apart from each other. And for all you doggies out there, there is no better place than at the Merino's home. You are being truly loved there. So, Auntie Anolan & Uncle Guillermo, thank you so very much for the wonderful time And the love you provided me with. I truly hope to see you real soon again. Anolan and Guillermo are the most charming couple and it seemed they fell in love with our dog, Dusty. I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience of boarding Dusty during our vacation. They sent me daily pictures which suggested that Dusty had a better time during his vacation than we did on ours!! Any dog owner looking for a host family to board a dog in the Cape Coral/Ft Myers area would be well advised to get in touch with Anolan and Guillermo.

I never like leaving my little Maltese when I travel. Most of the time, she goes with me. However, there is always something that comes up and I'm forced to leave her. Thankfully, I found these people. First of all, they LOVE dogs. They have a beautiful place and yard. I felt so comfortable after meeting with them and Moonlight immediately loved them and their house. I felt no hesitation leaving her and it made my trip that much more enjoyable. They sent me updates daily - complete with pictures to let me know how she was doing. I could tell she was getting lots of attention. When I returned, she was happy to see me - but the key word is HAPPY! She was running around and playing. I could tell she had an awesome time and I will definitely use them again - anytime I have to go out of town. Thanks!

For those of you that feel about your dogs like I do. You know a child, best friend, family member...you will not find a more perfect home for dog! From the time I walked in to the time I picked up Hapa I felt at ease knowing he was staying with them. I got update photos of him at play and saw that Anolan M was the RIGHT CHOICE for peace of mind. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone the slightest bit nervous ( as I was) about leaving your child with anyone. Knowing Hapa was safe and loved made my time away more relaxed. I will ONLY use them in the future.
